I think that I was let down by this book. But this may be my fault, I think I wanted to book to be about something that it wasn't. For some reason, I read the blurb, and thought that the returned were like abducted by aliens or something. This is what I was looking forward to! Unfortunately for me, it was about what the blurb said. Dead people coming back to life.

After I started reading it, I realized that this is the book that the television show Resurrection is based on. Yay, because I've been watching it, and love it! Sadly, other than the original concept and some of the names, there aren't many similarities between the show and this book. Which is actually kind of a good thing, because it means that the show might continue to be great.

It's just that I kept waiting to find out why, what was it all about. What was the purpose of these people coming back? Why only certain people? Is there something special about where they land? None of these questions were ever answered. Yes, a let down.
