I have to say, I only just "liked" this book, because its format is not a top-quality, professional production. It doesn't have the type of professionalism one would hope to see in such a costly book. The chapters are short, and they read like collected articles from Majesty Magazine or Royalty Magazine - anyone familiar with these publications will know what I mean (I hope). The book is interesting but not informative; in other words, there's not a lot of fresh information, and what's presented is on the shallow, sentimental side (although Nicholas's teenage crush on his cousin Victoria of Wales was something new to me, I'll admit). Even the print font and size of the text is just like that of the Royalty magazines. On the plus side, there are several beautiful and not so well-known photographs. Still, I paid a lot of money for this book when it first came out, and my overall feeling was one of disappointment with it.
