An OK overview of a young lawyer's three-yr commitment to work in the NYC D.A.'s office as a beginning prosecutor. I learned a lot about the inner workings and procedures of initial indictments. Also, the view of the courts, while a little jaded, is not inspiring. He emphasizes how overworked many within the system actually are. Not surprisingly, his decision at the end of the three years is to enter another line of work. His liberal bias shines through. Not perhaps a particularly good writer, but he does get his point across and has some yarns to spin!
