This is my first book to finish in 2012! I hope there will be many more as good as Ruby' Slippers, by Leanna Ellis. It's the the story of Dottie, from Kansas. She is injured in a tornado (yes, a tornado) and is in a coma for several months. When she wakes up, her adventure begins, as she, along with her little dog Otto, and an interesting group of new friends, head to Seattle (the Emerald City?) to find the father whom she has not seen for more than thirty years. Also, there's a witchy sister who is after Dottie's ruby slippers! This is a very good story. I look forward to reading other books by this author.
