I liked this book. Having grown up in a small town in Texas, what happened to our protagonist could have happened,

My only issue is that times change. The book was published in 1996. Things like telephone booths have been replaced by cell phones; lots of technology and things like gay marriage make the book seem outdated.

Still, a good book and worth the read.

Reading Rust on the Razor (Tom & Scott, Bk 6) Author: Mark Richard Zubro well written mystery. The major thymn of the story is small town hero is called home because his father has a heart attack. The big problem is he wants his partner to come with him for support. So two gay men arrive in a small Georgia town, brothers and one sister are part of a small church and are anti gay probably anti a bunch more stuff. The town and about half the family are being really ugly the Sheriff confronts them and tries to run them out of town. Of course he is murdered and stuffed into the couples rental car at the hospital.

It is an well written book and great mystery and probably too close to what would happen in a small town in the south or probably in the north. Great characters and plotting.
