My children and I truly enjoyed this book. The depiction of such a tender moment and the heart of a good man were the two things that stuck in the minds of my children, both in the text and in the artwork. The fact of Christians being persecuted and executed was not lost on my two older ones either. A very good book that I highly recommend.
