this is another great book by Lucy Monroe! Ethan is mentioned in her book 'and Able' as the nephew of the old guy in the nursing home who was killed. also if you've read 'and able' brett and claire make an appearance briefly in this one) ethan and the daughter of the group he works for go undercover and undercover with each other! some hot handcuff bondage type sex in this one. I enjoy monroe's writing, esp in these 4 books 'ready', 'willing', 'and able' and 'satisfaction guaranteed' and plan on buying the 5th title as soon as it's available! this one can be read alone though without reading the other 3 and still make sense.

I love Lucy Monroe. But I hated this book. Everything about it felt contrived.

Average looking female agent is asked to work undercover on an assignment with the agent she's wanted for the last two years. They have to pretend to be in a relationship. The storyline was ok. I didn't feel the author built the relationship enough. This story has one of my pet peeves - the inconsistent heroine. The heroine was smart and confident in some scenes, and in others she was weak, indecisive, far too emotional and childish. She gets jealous at him for doing his job the way he's been trained to do. For someone who supposedly had basic training to be an agent, and had grown up with a father who had been a respected spy/head of an espionage agency, she sure didn't act as smart as she could have. She said/did several things that even I wouldn't do, and my only training comes from watching spies on television and films.

I loved the cover of the book and the description in the back cover, but the story doesn't deliver on the title.

A previous reviewer mentioned there was bondage sex. I don't think I would call it that. The so-called "bondage" sex is very tame. It's not s/m or bondage at all. It's more like wannabe bondage with cute pink handcuffs, but there's nothing wrong with that.

Good story. Some hot romance scenes & intrigue but not too deep into the terrorists. Enjoyed it.

I have to agree with N S one hundred percent. I was very disappointed with this book; could not relate to the hero or heroine. It was all so superficial & shallow that I ended up speed-reading the last half just to finish the story.
