She's put the gut feeling in words!
I certainly loved this book, although, I really haven't read a Garwood book that I didn't like. What I most enjoyed was the gut feeling of Love that Iain and Judith had for each other was so very well told in this book. My favorite line was when Iain decided he would marry Judith, he never proposed, he just told her he was going to keep her! Enjoy the book!

c1100 tale set in medieval Scotland. Interesting plot and subplots of intrique and romance. First of a series - the second book is Ransome. If you like historical romance novels this is far above ordinary. First published in 1992. This paperback is 2005.

Don't know how I'd missed this little jewel, thought I'd read all Julie Garwood's books. She never disappoints! I loved the story, the girl's friendship and the double names. Worth re-reading if its been awhile.

Travel back to where women were "mylady" and mean were "Lords" in this great romance novel. A search for truth, finds passion and true love, and as always...forbidden.
