A very good account of the author's travels as a group tour leader. The "rest stop" stories are laugh-out-loud funny and the travel planning advice in the last chapter is great.

Joyce Brooks' books - don't leave home without them! They inspired my "Around a big World witha Small Bladder" quest to set foot on all 7 continents which I completed in March 2009.

As a child of nine, Joyce made a vow in a Texas cotton patch to travel the world and write a book about it. It took her 60 years to fulfill this goal, but she never lost sight of her dream and without the means of personal wealth, traveled to 116 countries spanning all seven continents. This book relates her favorite places around the world, with some funny stories and destination information along the way. A inspiring and interesting book for everyone - arm-chair and adventure traveler alike.
