This fabulous story has it all -- murder, love, and jealousy and a family with lots of secrets. Set on the Central California Coast, this is the seventh Benni Harper story. I loved it!
Great book. This is such a fun series. Not predictable at all and each one is a different kind of mystery.
A murder at Benni Harper's stepson's engagement party leads Benni to dig into the hidden secrets at Seven Sisters Ranch, home of the wealthy and influential Brown family.
Great story. Benni Harper just can't stay out of trouble.
If you like quilt tops, then this is a series for you. There is always a little about quilts, but not a lot.
Excellent story, surprise ending. Continues to be a good series.

Great book! I love this series!
Sam announces that his girlfriend is pregnant. She is the granddaughter of one of the Brown sisters. At the announcement party, a man is shot and killed. What seems as a simple murder gets murky and dangerous for Benni who has been drawn into the investigation by a sheriff's deputy, Hud. The Brown family is a big name in her country and it won't be easy to get to the truth and even if they do, be able to do anything about it. Great book, as always.
