Some wonderful Christian stories from Russia. A pastor is arrested by the KGB for being suspected of being in a religious meeting, and sent to a hard core prison. The warden tells the prisoner that there is no God. The prisoner tells the warden what God has done for him. The warden puts him in a cell without food or water. Several times a day the prisoner is brought food, by someone scratching on the window sill. He saves the bread for several days and the warden watches as his cat brings bread and lays it on the window sill. The warden is converted.
A young pastor is sent to Siberia for refusing to give the names of his congregation to the KGB. In Siberia each prisoner works seven days a week. The pastor will not work on the seventh Day sabbath, so the warden locks him in a small chest for 10 day stretches for 2 years. A superior officer comes to the camp and suggests another approach. Let the pastor see if in 6 days he can carry the water needed for seven days. The pastor gets to Friday and he does not have enough water for the sabbath. However, on Friday the old ox runs to and from the water source and every sabbath there is enough water.
