This book was so cute...the ugly duckling makes good. Samantha McCafferty is a dietician who's come up with the ultimate discovery...the sex diet, which she believes dramatically increases pheromone production, which in turn leads to untold lust. But the true test comes when she goes on her own diet hoping to catch her best friend, a gorgeous man who could have his pick of women. So why would he want her?

What she doesn't know is that Hank's had it bad for her since they were teens and she never really needed a dramatic increase in pheromones to catch him. She only ever really needed to say the word. But the problem comes when Sam's not sure if Hank really wants her because of her new diet or if he's really attracted to her for herself.

Read on to find out if they find the elusive happily-ever-after that everyone craves.

This is a quick beach read. I thought it would be a little better, i.e., more complex characters and better plot, but in the end, it reminded me of foreplay. So if you want a kind of mindless piece of fluff, this is the book for you.

The premise of this book is simple. All Samantha has to do is stay on this regimented diet for as long as it takes to achieve the Big O. So what if she happens to be going on vacation to the same spot she's been going to since she was a kid. And so what if she happens to be in love with the owner of the B&B and has been for years. And so what if that same owner has also been in love with her for many years.

All these little so whats make for one big farce and one hot book. As I read this book I thought, "I love shellfish but I'm not gonna eat that much of it no matter what - lol!!!!!!" But this book was great. I love it and rooted for this couple as they really were meant for each other. Comedy and heat all rolled in one.
