This is a fast paced thriller that uses a character from the kane and abel series although not very in depth it could easily be a stand alone book. It leaves a little mystery at the end which did not please me but over all a well written thriller

Jeffrey Archer is the consummate author. His books grab the reader from the beginning and doesn't stop until the end. This book begins in a park across the street from the White House a death and explosion. From here the characters all expand in descriptions of them and their interactions and escapades...murder, arson, etc. I give this book a four star rating.

Only one man knows that the first woman president of the United States is scheduled for assasination and he only has six days to uncover the plot and those behind it. Not knowing who he can trust he is forced to act alone. A good conspiracy thriller by a master storyteller.
