The Shroud is well written and has a very interesting historical subject. Madison, broke and hungry for a job, gets herself in deep trouble as she goes to work for an art dealer presumbed dead but really in hidding from the law. Madison's job is to research a religious relic, supposedly a long lost painting of Christ. Full of sex and adventure, the book is an enjoyable read with well developed characters and a twist at the end.

I kept trying and trying to keep with this but half way through I just couldn't read one more page. Mostly about antiquities, Russians, shieks, etc. and I found it to be just boring and by half way through it still wasn't interesting.
