A sequel to Sydney Sheldon's Master Of The Game, this left me breathless to the very end. The Blackwell family of children and grandchildren continue to weave a web of suspense unmatched by any other writer. Tilly Bagshawe, the author, was chosen to write this sequel and it was a dead ringer for Sidney Sheldon's style. Family secrets, lies, deceit and one ultimate lone surviving winner. If you miss Mr. Sheldon's books as much as I do----don't miss this wonderful book. Bravo to the author.

I not only love the stories Sidney Sheldon tells, I LOVE the way he writes. He never digresses into long explanations or descriptions; those nuggets are dropped along the way so the story keeps moving along. Unfortunately, it makes it almost impossible to put the book down to sleep, eat dinner, converse...ha,ha. I also love his great endings, they are surprising and ultimately satisfying. I miss him, he died in 2007 and this book was written in 2009 by Tilly Bagshawe and the three other books after this one. She did very well.

I thought this book was hard to follow the story line. But it is a good read.

This was an interesting whirlwind of a story...continuing saga of the Blackwell family and fortune. Seems just about every character was somehow flawed with no moral compass..strange, but a good read.
