This story follows "Causing Havoc" and tells the story of Simon and Dakota Dream. This is definitely one of my favorites by Lori Foster. There were a few parts that made me laugh out loud, the sex scenes were steamy, and the plot overall was pretty good.

I hope she continues with the characters in this series.....they are all great. This is Simon & Dakota's story. After finding the woman he's been with for 5yrs has cheated on him...he decides to give up training & go back into the ring. Along that quest he meets Dakota who has an agenda & problems of her own. Their story is full of fun, fights & eventually love. Enjoy!

Next installment of the SBC fighters series.
"Sublime" Simon decides to return to the ring and competition, but Dakota Dream keeps distracting him. She's been sent by his long absent father to bring them together, and Simon is having none of it. Everyone's focus shifts to finding out who is trying to hurt Dakota when she is pushed down the stairs.
Fun revisit with the SBC group with lots of familiar faces. The romance between Simon and Dakota is expected but still manages to keep you hooked until the very end.

The second in her SBC fighters series. This one follows Simon "Sublime" Evans, who after leaving his cheating significant other finds himself falling for a woman who despite her direct statements and bold actions, may be hiding something. Snappy dialogue, with her trademark steamy sex scenes, this is a good beach read.

In the second book of Foster's SBC Fighters series, Simon, ex-fighter and trainer decides to get back into the ring for a comeback after discovering that his girlfriend of five years has cheated on him. While in training, a young woman enters the gym and knocks him for a loop. His instant attraction for her runs up against the fact that she is there to convince him to meet his birth father, a man he has no interest in whatsoever. As the story evolves, the lies and misconceptions between Simon and Dakota may keep them apart, but the danger Dakota finds herself in keeps pushing them back together.

Loaded with Foster's trademark funny moments and fun characters, I enjoyed the brief glimpses of the other fighters as well and felt the suspense as Simon tried to protect Dakota, even against her wishes.

I like this series! Another good story in this SBC series - good characters, decent plot, fast paced. I very much liked Dakota and Barber - Simon was OK, Good sexual tension and interaction between everyone involved. I'd have liked a touch more intrigue with Dakota's stepfather Barnaby or more complex involvement from Marvin, but the story was pretty good. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

The story of Simon and Dakota is a non-stop fun story with a stalker thrown in for the fun of it. I enjoyed how strong Dakota is and how she didn't just let Simon take care of everything for her. Simon is one of my favorite SBC characters and he was everything that I had imagined him to be. Ms. Foster has once again provided an amazing story with endearing characters that leave you just wanting more!
