Though this book does not deal with the other cousins as much as the other book did (no dining out hardly, conversations with them etc), this book packed a powerful punch. This book also deals with weight issues as well and how someone's image of a perfect woman can mess with a person's mind and body. A wonderful all around great read, and quiet possibly my favorite out of the series. And this is the third book (possibly the final, she has not continued the series yet)and yes you will need to read the other two books to figure out a little bit of the back story.
I have enjoyed this series greatly and while this book was not as funny as the other two, I have to say that it has turned out to be my favorite. The character learns a huge lesson about letting God be in control and letting her illusion of control go. You also get some tiny glimpses of the characters from the two previous books. I felt it was well worth the reading time.
