I truly enjoyed the experience of a story being told about a family over the course of multiple generations. Fern Michaels sucks you in completely and spits you out understanding the world and people a little better. It would have gotten 5 stars but I did not read the first book "Sins of Ommision" and missed a tiny bit by reading out of order. That book is en-route to me.
