I thought this was run of the mill Danielle Steel fluff. It was a good story, some pain, some mystery, some romance, some happiness; but overall I thought it was rather fluffy; I enjoyed the story but was glad when it was over.

I used to like Danielle Steel back in the day and then didn't so much when she wrote the klone and I. So since then I haven't read much of her stuff, but this reminds me of the old style Danielle. It's awesome. You will love it.

Not her best work at all. The plot was slow and the ending rushed. In my opinion, her quality of writing is really going down hill. Quick read, finished it in one day. Read for a mental break.

Even the cover art describes the plot well: four diverse women, sisters with the same parents, come together after tragedy sets their family on its heels. They spend a year together that tries their patience, belief systems, and ability to make everyday choices that impact beyond the individual self. The ending is a bit too speedy and perfect, but getting there is a study in what each holds to be important.

This is a great book...A few moments where the author could pick up the pace but definitely worth the read. Highly recommend if you have sisters of your own! :)

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. Steel makes you feel like you are a part of the family, feeling their pain and their joy. You feel yourself rooting for each one of them in their own personal triumphs and wanting to sympathize with their tragedies. A definite must read.

What a wonderful book about 4 sisters. Three of the sisters agree to move in together to help their sister who was blinded in a car accident that took the life of their mom. I loved this book

First Danielle Steel book I read. I liked the book and it made me cry in a few spots; I am a sensitive person though. The only down fall is that I could predict what was coming next. Overall good easy read just a little predictable. Thanks

I cried while reading this book. It really showed you the love that these sisters have for each other. I had never read a book by this author, I highly reccomend this book if you need a good cry.

Well-written! Ms. Steel had gotten "stale" with her writting, this is a refreshing change.

What a disappointment. Don't get me wrong, the story itself is wonderful. The writing, however, is quite poor. I swear, my middle schooler writes in the same way - choppy sentences, no depth at all. Ms. Steel may be "cranking out" too many, and the quality is suffering.

This book made me want a sister. It showed me how different but so alike family can be. I also shows the no matter how hard times get as long as you have family by your side you can make it through the storm.

This story was a fast read and enjoyable. About 4 sisters who are going through a difficult time with their lives, work, men and family.

I've never read any of her books before. This one left me wanting more; I hated putting the book down. I have a couple sisters of my own, and this book brings to life the bond I wish to death I had with my younger sister. Danielle Steel also incorporates some other real realtionship issues well. The sisters were blessed with an amazingly loving famuily. It might seem silly that things work out so well because of love and family but I believed it.

P.S. It won't take too long to figure out who's who on the cover.

This is a great book about family, more specifically sisters, and the strong bond that family can have. This book emphasizes how family can help each other cope through difficult times by leaning on each other. Very good book.

This being the 1st Danielle Steel book I have ever read, I loved it. It started out very slow but after the 4th chapter I was hooked. I finished it in a Day and a half. Great Book. Very intriging. Kept me turning the pages and made me feel like I was a sister too..

Dwells much more on tragedy and loss than on happiness and fulfillment. Not exactly the light-hearted read I was hoping for before bed.

Spoiler alert! Have a WHOLE box of tissues handy when reading this book. I haven't read much of Danielle Steele in long time, but on the advise of my own sister, I read this one. WOW. What an incredible bond between these sisters and their parents. Sisters certainly do share a unique and incredible bond, as is the case in my own family, and this book just solidifies my faith in sisters. Loved it.

Fast Read - A bit too repetitive.
