Alec Dempsey left Freedom, AK and the girl he loved behind 10 years ago. Kiera Morgan was destroyed by his betrayal, but has put her life together and now owns her own business. When a criminal she helped convict is paroled and headed back to Freedom, Alec is convinced by his bosses at the ATF and FBI to go in undercover. Pretty good story, lots of sensuality and believable plot.

Good book. Alec left Keira 10 years ago one day and didn't look back. Alec is an A.T.F. agent going back to protect Keira from a man who attempted to rape her 5 years ago and is now getting out of prision vowing to punish her for turning him in. The assignment was supposed to be easy...pretend he came back for Keira while watching out for danger. Alec didn't realize that even 10 years away still didn't take away the need to be with Keira.
