I would've given this all 5 rating but it hit a point or two that just didn't belong, first it was way too long 435 pages and it didn't need to be, second was when it went into Mickey's mother and why she left him etc I didn't feel like it belonged in this book it was just a side story to fill pages

I haven't read all of this series but this one could be considered a stand a lone, it does refer to Darby past and being a cop etc but it doesn't make you want to go back and read the other books
