The importance of friendship is addressed in this book - even when we do not realize or recognize the importance of what we believe to be secondary relationships...
This is a good read - a book every woman should read and reflect on.

I gave this two stars instead of one because it managed to keep my interest enough to keep reading the story instead of just putting it down. I found the premise of falling in love with someone simply by seeing and having sex with them once a week for two hours to be a bit shallow. I got the whole passion thing and that they connected--but really what kind of relationship is that? Two hours locked in a room away from the real world does not a relationship make. I just found the whole story unbelievable. The wife was way too good, the doctor was unbelievably stupid in her choices. If you want a book that is pure fantasy with not a lot of depth, you will like this story.

I just finished this book and really enjoyed it. It was pretty thought provoking and did convey some underlying messages about friendships, relationships and the ability to forgive. I think she is an excellent writer. I loved her first book as well.
