I recommend reading this one before the second in the series. This is a good story. At first I was getting kind of antsy but as the story went along, it made more sense with the details. It's hard to believe that there are really people like Donovan and the way they sell people as sex slaves. Mitchell was a very patient guy and stuck it out with Sammi as much as he could. I liked this book. I liked the second one even better but this was good too.
Loved the book.
My only criticism is that one of the two protagonists, Sammi, was more one-dimensional (until the end) than the other, Mitchel.
