This book was a very interesting read. A fast paced book about the Mansot family and their Jewelery business. The founder Pierrer has disappeared and his widow Sophie has after 7 years declared him dead. The resulting book covers the struggle for Sophie to cope with the business, public opinion and hostile takeover bids to survive. All is not what it seem. This book was hard to put down. With twists and turns it captures your attention and keeps you riveted to the pages. Will Sophie find love, will she survive the cutthroat jewelery business, will she survive at all?

This book kept me on my toes. I was really involved with all of the characters and couldn't wait to find out what happened. I loved it because I wouldn't have been able to guess the ending in a million years. I normally guess the ending in the majority of books I read, so that was very refreshing! Deserves 4 stars at least!!
