Well, having not read the book, listening to this brought mixed emotions. The individual family sections were quite interesting, but they just flew by. This is a total 3 hour read. They just HAD to cut out a lot of stuff, too much. And then reading itself!!!! Good grief, is that voice an affectation for the sake of the book itself? Geez it was annoying.
