Very enjoyable read. This was a new author to me and I throughly enjoyed it. Good mystery read with just enough of a twist to keep your attention. It was a hard book to put down, in fact I read it through in one sitting finishing in the wee hours of the morning. :)

Young women are answering their phones only to hear the sounds of a thunderstorm and chimes. Then the women promptly drop the phone and commit suicide by various means. FBI Agent Sullivan Dean has an old school photo of seven schoolgirls in a gifted class. Six of them are already dead. He needs to find Virginia Shapiro before she becomes the next victim. Ginny has the same photo and she isn't answering her phone. She is hiding in hopes that the killer can't find her.

Dinah McCall (aka Sharon Sala) is a hit and miss author for me. This book falls somewhere in the middle. The idea of someone planting post-hypnotic suggestions in children definitely kept my interest. And, I liked that the heroine was pro-active and wasn't waiting around for someone to save her. But somewhere along the way the book lost steam for me and I wasn't surprised by the twist at the end. My rating: 3.5 Stars.
