Another excellent tale about the low country from Mary Alice Monroe! I loved the characters (three sisters) and story that unfolds as these girls, as adults come together again at their grandmother's home on Sullivan's Island. This is the first of a series...Looking forward to reading the next one.

While I really enjoy most of the author's books, I couldn't ' t finish this one. I was bored, really bored, by the characters and the story line. Not even the descriptions of the Low Country could entice me to keep reading. I think I might be d one with this author.

This is the third book I have read in the series. Apparently when I recently finished Low Country Wedding. I realized there were previous books. So I just finished this one, which was the first. When looking for the second. I found a review I'd posted of The Summer Wind when I read it in 2015! So, I guess I am all caught up! Love her writing, love the stories of family.
