Ah, I think its called Stockholm Syndrome!
IF you want a tragic epic with a somewhat happy ennding this book is for you.
IF you are looking for a cozy, feel good read...look elsewhere.
The writing was great and the idea is intriguing but the characters fell short for me and i think Steve is a evil man that can't seem to keep it in his pants!

Historical Romance- I loved this book, It is the first book in the Steve and Ginny series.
