is there a limit as to how many books you can have on your TBR list? |

I have 350 on mine. I print my list to take with me to sales so I don't pick up a duplicate. I hope there isn't a limit. |

I think it's your Wish List that has a limit, right? 200, I think? |

wow Tonya, I hope you have them in ABC order. ick. I'd hate to pick up a book and go through that list over and over XD heck, if I get a double that just means one more for PBS! |

No, I don't think that there is a limit. Some members have TBR piles over 1,000 with no trouble yet. |

I have 400 on mine. The majority of them are in alphabetical order, but the rest are just start to gather in piles and boxes. I get books faster than I can read them, but that's okay. At least I will always have one to read. |

wow, if I had that many on my TBR pile then I woul need to stop ordering books and get to reading! I only have 29 on my list right now but I have 5 on the way. |

thanks for the answers. I don't think I'll get to 1000 but nice to know I have some breathing room LOL. |

Gah, I thought I was out of line by having 100 on my TBR list. |

I thought I was bad with 165 (my husband just keeps shaking his head. I read through a few just in time for a whole new set comes in!) I can't imagine having 1000! |

I have 314 on mine right now. A lot of them, like Little Women & Huck Finn, I read many years ago but intend to read again as an adult. Of course, I'm a bigger collector than I am a swapper, constantly adding classics to my shelves that I will probably never part with. Even so, PBS has become my second home---allowing me to pick up books at the local library book store and swap them here for the classics I still need. And lately I've taken to noting the books I have that are on others' wish lists so I can get duplicates. At the library store (where they sell a lot of donated used books in addition to the typical withdrawn ones) I can often get a book for $0.50 or $1, so if I see another copy of something like Catch 22, I can pick it up for next-to-nothing, then swap off my current edition which is wanted by 8 people. I guess that makes me something of a PBS addict, actively seeking to fulfill other users' wishlists! |
