Feuding romance in the wine-growing country of California. Learned a lot about wine-growing, too.
I completely loved this book and I reccomend it to anyone.
I loved this! A lot of her books I have trouble with but I believe this was one of her best.
From the lush vineyards of California's Napa Valley to the glittering city lights of New York, this is the enthralling story of a glamorous news anchorwoman and a rugged vintner caught up in a turbulent web of passion, intrigue, and long-buried secret. A New York Times and national bestseller, from the author of Aspen Gold and Masquerade.
Kelly Douglas (realy Lizzie Dougherty) grew up in Napa Valley and ran away from her drunken, mean father. She became a broadcaster and when she returned to her home town there was a murder and her father was accused. She got him an attorney and proved he didn't do it. She dropped him back at home with a bag of groceries and left. She fell in love with the grandson of a matriarch at the famous Rutledge Estate Winery, Sam. She also took over her father's vinyard to keep a roof over his head and earn a profit.
