Like other Reilly books I've read: a fun, fast-paced Indiana Jones type book. Not at all credible, but a fun read.

This books initial premise had promise and while the reading was fun, it slowly became more and more comic-bookish right up to the end. If you have ever watched alias then you can understand how in this book every little thing will just happen to go right for the unlikely hero. Don't get me wrong, I read the entire book. I even enjoyed it at times, but it was not a great piece of literature.

This was a good "Indiana Jones" adventure type book. Don't give up on it around page 100. It worth it to go on. The ending was great!

A good read, the book begins a bit slow as the characters unfold and the plot is laid. Once the action starts it keep going and you will be on the edge of your seat to the very end. Everytime you think things figured out and that the story is coming to an end another shoe drops and the action accelerates as new sub-plots unfold. The rapas are interesting creatures that will fascinate you as you follow the quest for possession of the idol.

Too much over the top action! Not close to believable. I do not think I will read another Reilly book because of it. Sorry.
