I enjoyed this book, and it's better than the first in the series. In this book, the fun comes in the complete miscommunication between Irisa and Lucas. And the format where the author jumps between her point of view and his really brings out the humor in their situations. The ending was a bit contrived, but it was still worth a read.
I didn't think I would enjoy this book because I usually find books based on miscommunications a bit frustrating and dumb. But this one works really well. Given the limitations of "appropriate" topics Irisa and Lucas could discuss, I can see how these miscommunications came about and it made sense.
It was a very sweet, fun novel. I would love to go back and read the story of the Drakes.

Ms. Monroe's second is just as good if not better than the first. I enjoyed this immensely.
Second in a trilogy Great Read!!
Good read! A little slow at first, but give it a chance. Irisa and Lucas are a great romantic couple. He is looking for the perfect wife. She is looking for someone who could withstand the scandal of her illegitimate birth. They find passion, love and trust.
This is a fun book to read- well drawn leads with some funny bits. LM does a great job of keeping me, at least, involved in the story. Yummy.
