I love the time period that Ms. Trigiani writes about. This story took a little long to get started, but it's a good window on the life of celebrities and their families. Chi Chi and Tony are both talented, but Tony is the one whose career takes off, while Chi Chi stays home with the family-too bad Tony has a 'wandering eye'. It is a story of true love, and the limits that women faced back in the 'olden days'.
