Roy Halladay was killed today in an airplane crash off the coast of Florida today.  He was 40 years old, and leaves a wife and two children.

Doc pitched for a number of years with the Toronto Blue Jays and then with the Philadelphia Phillies.

One of the most dominant pitchers in the game.  When the Red Sox were playing Toronto, fans cringed a bit when Halladay was schedulted to pitch against them.  He was such a superb pitcher, and great teammate.

He will be missed.
