This book is the 19th of the series. After all the battles Ben Raines and his Rebels have fought this new battle might prove to be the ugliest and most disturbing of all.

Some of those in power in the "old" America survived all of the early turmoil and are now grown strong enough to put together a mercenary army waiting to defeat the Rebels and take possession of all America once again. Some of Raines weaker warriors succumb to the promises of a something for nothing life with the Liberals.

I found this book very interesting and would recommend highly. The meeting of two very different life views written some 18 years ago. Maybe the author was able to see the future?
