I read some reviews where people said they were disappointed in this sequel to Escape. I'm so glad I didn't listen to them. I can't get enough of the Carolyn Jessop story. It is so inspirational. I liked hearing Carolyn's opinions on things that she never had an opportunity to express before. Her never knowing what a designer handbag was until Brian gave her one really sticks with me. Her daughter Betty who went back to the FLDS at 18 enjoying an ice cream cone with them as she rarely got one "inside" and asking her sister if Facebook was kind of like My Space. I loved hearing more about her 8 children growing up. There are so many poignant moments in this book that starts out with her telling about the raid on the Zion Ranch in Texas. I particularly liked listening to this audio version. If you are very interested in the FLDS I wouldn't miss Carolyn's feelings on the outside as expressed in this book.
