It's now 2007/2008 and the "Mommy Wars" are no longer in the media. Stay at home Moms versus the Moms who have full-time careers. In this personal search to rebut the media circus which created the Mommy Wars, we find many surprising facts, one of which is the not addressed by the media: many times there isn't a choice to stay at home or go back to work. Those who do have the choice, are affluent and thus the target to highly influential media makers. We also hear from the full-time moms who are part time workers.

Though not a "current event," this was a very interesting read for me, a 40-something, single, no-kids woman who lives in San Francisco, the metropolitan city which currently has the smallest (and shrinking) population of children in the United States.
