Jenny Randles is a careful reporter who clearly separates woowoo speculation from factual evidence and accounts. This book is written from the point of view that there are real things flying around in our atmosphere which often constitute a hazard to our own aircraft and we don't know what they are, nor whether they are even all the same things. She analyzes many well known incidents and reports made by pilots and others, not to urge that she knows The Real Truth, but to urge that these things, whatever they turn out to be, should be taken seriously and a full and public investigation should be made.
