The author's story is fascinating - an enlightening look at how affirmative action was supposed to work. Some of her ideas were hard for me to understand, not being as brilliant as she, nor Black. But she made me understand where she was coming from, and why she thought what she did. An amazing accomplished young woman, and a woman with an amazing and enviable career later on.
