I saw this title listed on a Christian humor reading list over on Amazon and just had to read it. It was a very quick easy read and I must say it had some very funny moments. I laughed and laughed over the parlor games the folks at the boarding house played during their annual harvest party. I'm looking forward to No. 2 in this series and wish there were more.

I truly loved this book -- and I wish the publisher had continued to publish a bunch of them (instead of only 2!) Still, I enjoyed this one and Raising Cain -- I found myself LOL. Cute, Christian romance.
Cute story -- the sweet but hard-of-hearing landlady keeps things interesting by praying for what she heard -- which wasn't necessarily what was said. The unusual mix of boarders and their friendship make it enjoyable.
