I have a book that someone is wishing for in hardback, which is the ISBN on my book, but it is an uncorrected proof and therefore is technically a paperback, but in pristine condition.

I need to know if I may post this book as a  hardback.

It is an ARC, and is not postable at all. You may offer it as a freebie with an order from your shelf in the Book Bazaar, though.

From the Help Center:

Not allowed: Advance Reader Copies (also known as ARC s, Review Copies or Uncorrected Proofs--these are not the final versions of books)

Edited to add: If this were just a case of paperback showing up as hardcover (or vice versa) when you entered the ISBN, you would have had to use the "Post book without an ISBN" option. (Obviously this does not apply in this particular case, since uncorrected proofs are unpostable.)

Again, from the Help Center:

It is NOT okay to post your book using a listing on which the information doesn't describe your book properly.  Author, ISBN (if there is one), title and booktype must all match.  Book cover image, publication date, etc.do not need to match. Posting your book correctly is a cardinal rule at PBS.

ditto to the above...if I requested a hardback and someone sent me an ARC/Uncorrected Proof I wouldn't be a happy camper.

offer for free or frugalreader allows you to list them for a credit, bookmooch and title trader might also as well since I think I got one from TT.

Bookmooch does allow for swapping ARC, as long as you state so in your "condition" description.

I do as others have mentioned - either offer them as freebies or swap 'em on Bookmooch.com.  If you were to offer it as a freebie here you could specify which book(s) would be eligible.  For example, you could say it's free with a Grisham or children's book.
