This first book focuses on Mac & Carter's story... but gives you enough info on the other 3 best friends and men that you know are going to be important in future stories... a great recipe to keep you hooked on the series. Roberts has a way of hitting the hard issues that so many of us can understand. It is hard to believe in happily ever after when your parents have been divorced...and remarried multiple times... haven't we all worried about falling into the patterns or our parents. It was wonderful to see Mac struggle through her issues... and finally realize that "our type" might now be the best bet!

This was a great book! It was very predictable but the story kept you going. I can't wait for the second book to come along.
