Note: This is the same book as Running Blind (literally, just renamed and published under a different publisher), so if you've read Running Blind, you've read this. That said, Lee Child is awesome! If you're looking for a good action hero AND a really well written novel, here you go. I'm totally in love with Jack Reacher.
Two former Army women are killed. Reacher had known both of them professionally, when he was an M.P. An FBI profiler tabs Reacher as a suspect. The ensuing story takes you coast-to-coast several times, and leaves you with a nasty twist at the end. My 5th Reacher novel, but not my last!
This author is the best thriller writer. He keeps you involved in the book from begining to end and you won't want to put it down. I have read every single book of his; they are each so great and different from each other but all of them have his Signicture character Jack Reacher ex military cop dude in them. This guy rocks. Hope you choose to enjoy this book.
Pretty good thriller. Wordy. I figured it out about 1/4 through and after that it got pretty dull. I am usually not too great about figuring these things out, so then I had to wonder why Reacher can't solve it. The other thing that was implausible was the leverage used by the FBI to get Reacher to help. Maybe slightly more plausible if you consider the FBI/Whitey Bulger fiasco.
