I'm kind of on the fence with this one. This race of men is so sexual, that once the sex starts, it dominates the story. This one started way too soon, which made the plot seem non-existent. I enjoyed the first one, and enjoyed this one to some extent, but I'm really not feeling it. I'll pick up the next one to see where it goes, but it's definitely going to have to be better for me to continue after that.

As good as the first book, Slave. An easy read and one that will be hard to put down. Many women can relate to Tisana, even though she's a witch with a ablity that men should be grateful we don't have. And when she meets Leo...well you can't but be envious!

Tisana is a witch and a healer. She has been given a beaten half-to-death slave to heal whom she calls Leo. During the lengthy healing process, they fall in love. Leo and Tisana are then forced on a journey to save two kidnapped children from a semi-local warlord.

Another interesting storyling in the Cat Star Chronicles series. I enjoyed this one but not as much as book 1 (Slave). Really looking forward to book 3 (Rogue) which I happen to own and can't wait to start reading.
