Did not like this as well as some of her other books, but if you are interested in Mt Helens you will probably enjoy this book about 3 women who were affected by her eruption.

This book was of particular interest to me because I took a tour of Mt St Helens this summer--the thirtieth anniversary of the eruption. It gave me a look into lives of people who lived near the mountain and the pathos of their everyday and life-changing problems. So many people lost so much and yet this book describes some of gains in life-long friendships. If you have an interest in Mt St Helens and the history around the eruption, this book will give you insight. VERY ENJOYABLE
