I just finished Lisey's Story, it was okay, reminded me a little too much of Bag of Bones (which I loved) and Rose Madder. I am now working on The Great Mortality by John Kelly, excellent history of the Black Death.

I just finished Cold Heart Canyon by Clive Barker. What a fascinating book! I love how Barker combines horror with sensuality and desire and he creates such real characters. I am now finishing up Ghosts Among Us by Leslie Rule and getting ready to start on The Mailman by Bentley Little.

I'm reading Invasion by Robin Cook Next will be The Keep by F. Paul Wilson. I'm not happy unless I have a pile of books to be read. I love horror so if anyone has any suggestions on new authors I would be greatful. Favorite authors are: Koontz, King, F. Paul Wilson. I just got from PBS the first (i hope) Laurell Hamilton vampire novel, Guilty Pleasures. Looking forward to starting that one since there are so many of them. Check out my bookshelf. I add books all the time.

Just finished Age of Consent...about a haunted house...now I'm reading The Farm by Scott Nicolson, so far it's pretty good.  This is the first book I've read by him.
