I wanted to really like this with all the themes but it fell short for me. This is the first time reading from this author but this story didn't keep my attention, heck the M.C.s didn't feel any connections between the two. One kept pushing the other away since Dustin is the XO(I had to look that up since I don;t know military terms) and Wes was a petty officer. Yes it was forbidden romance but all the work up lead to disappointments. Even the ending wasn't a HEA but a HFN, so if I want to see how they end up I would have to read the others, maybe if their isnt a lot of 'woe is me' of 'i cant be with you but I need you' debates. As for the sex one good scene and the rest was mostly heavy petting and a quickie.
