I loved this book. I would give anything to be able to see the world the way Jan Frazier sees it. This is written almost like a diary as she tests out her new consciousness minus fear. I know this sort of thing can happen, but I think for most people, we get glimpses at times when consciousness expands. Just having those occasional glimpses gives me hope and assurance that life is so much more than the three dimensional, silly ego fearful world we live pretty much full time. Jan shows that it doesn't have to be that way. This other way, other world without fear is available to us right at this very moment. I love the way she describes it like a tall wall and that we simply must fully drop our worries and cares and lean into that wall and suddenly it can fall away. I like that image. You don't have to be perfect, or go to church, or be a good person, or follow a guru; you just must surrender and let it go. I read this book last winter during the height of the economic meltdown and it carried me through with a sense that things would be okay no matter. Highly recommended, especially if you've had glimpses, but want to know what life full time in an awakened state is like.
