Another excellent story in this series. Learned about horse breeding, interesting facts. Love the characters, always something going on with this bunch. The animals are wonderful, Brown is a very skillful writer, thanks to Sneaky Pie.

In the small Virginia town of Crozet many of the residents have lived there their entire lives. Two murders seem to tie in with the disappearance in 1974 of Mary Pat Reines. Do these recents deaths also tie in with Mary Pat's horse breeding program? Of course, Harry and her animals, Mrs. Murphy, Pewter and Tucker play a part in solving these crimes. Good, easy going story.

This is a great book as usual from Rita Mae Brown. I thoroughly enjoy Sneaky Pie Brown stories, and Ms. Brown didn't let me down with this book!
