Has anyone read Joe Hill's new book NOS4A2? I'm almost at the end, got through the whole thing in 3 days. I loved Hill's first book Heart Shaped Box and enjoyed his second book Horns. This one is as good or better than Heart Shaped Box.

Waiting for my copy to arrive from Cemetary Dance. Apparently there was some issue and now they're waiting on replacement dust jackets.  Also waiting for Joyland to show up on my doorstep. Glad to hear NOS4A2 doesn't disapoint.

It's on my wish list. I also enjoyed reading HSB. I am working on his 20th Century Ghosts at the moment.

I absolutely loved NOS4A2.  It is well written and the characters are well developed.  Certainly a great read.

Loved Horns, loved some of his short stories, but just could not get more than 20 or so pages into this one.

I LOVED it! Got through it in a couple days because I could not put it down. I really can't wait to see what his next book will be.

I listened to the Audible version narrated by Kate Mulgrew (Capt. Janeway). I bought it because of her and it was an amazing performance all around (I hope she narrates more books).  I'm glad I discovered Joe Hill too, loved the characters and the wacky x-mas themed horror.

This thread reminded me to check out his other books.

I finished listening today, it's definitely worth reading. I give it 3.5 personally. I may be in the minority, brightstar, regarding Kate Mulgrew narrating the story. I just didn't like her voice so much, but lots of people love her.

And did anybody else fall in love with Lou Carmody, just a little?

Yes, Lou was a sweetie.  I wonder if there's going to be a sequel, there were a few runaway threads there at the end!

I meet KM when I was little, a bunch of the cast from "Ryan's Hope" used to hang out at one of the actor's houses near us, so I've followed her career with interest. I am fan, no doubt. She has a distinctive voice so I can understand she's not going to be everyone's cup of tea. :)  I do love it when great actors narrate books though.
